Policy Statement
Nicci Morris Reflexology is committed to providing a safe environment for all clients and other practitioners. It recognises the importance of maintaining high standards of health and safety to ensure the well-being of all.
This policy outlines how Nicci Morris Reflexology will manage all its health and safety commitments.

Responsibilities
Practitioners are responsible for following established health and safety procedures, and reporting any potential hazards or incidents appropriately.

Clients are expected to follow safety instructions provided by practitioners during their visits and treatments and are encouraged to inform practitioners of any health conditions or concerns that might affect their health or safety during treatments.

Health and Safety Measures

– Regular risk assessments will be conducted to identify potential hazards.
– Regular cleaning of the treatment room and / or common areas will take place.
– All reflexology equipment will be checked regularly to ensure it is safe for client and practitioner use.
– All fire exits will be left clear of obstruction and no equipment will be placed in front of escape routes.
– Candles will only be used where the environment is safe to do so.
– Treatment rooms and areas will be set up ergonomically to prevent strain or injury to practitioners and clients.
– All practitioners will have regular breaks and practice stretches to reduce the risk of repetitive strain injuries.
– All personal information, including information on clients health, will be stored securely.

Client Health Screening
All clients will be asked to complete a health screening consultation prior to their first appointment, to identify any potential contraindications or risks before providing treatments.
Clients will provide accurate information about their health conditions and any allergies ahead of the treatment so the practitioner is aware.

Allergy Awareness
All clients will be asked in advance of any allergies they may have, and as part of their consultation.
There will be clear communication with clients about the ingredients in any products that are used.
